The flight home were very long but just like before, I meet some new nice people to talk to.
On the flight from San Fransisco to London, I sat next to a young woman fron New Zeeland who now lived in UK.
We talked just about everything, I like that, I like people who are open hearted.
Im back at work and it feels alright, naturally a lot to do but it would have been boring if I didnt had anything to do:-)
So a short reflection, Love SD and the people there, If I get the chance, I will go back.
I had a fun time and at the same time I learnt a lot.
Thanks for this time and make sure to do the things in life that makes YOU happy:-)
A big hug from me.

I have invited her to visit me in SE, and a few others that I kind of like a little more that others:-)
Later we went to out favourite resturant down at the harbour, Chris just looked at us and knew what we wanted....the same thing does the people in our coffe shop do....I like that...when people remember what you want, to me, that is good service:-)

This morning I was suppose to have got up at 7 but I was so extremely tired, so this morning I wasnt the first person at school:-)
We are working a lot with gramma naturally and I must say that I have stumpled in to several of new things that I have never heard about before.
I talked to Karl about this and he said the same thing.....to me it looks like there is some differences in the UK and US gramma.
As soon as I leard that there was a baseball game today, I decided that I had to se it.
So, of we went to se San Diegos team Padre playing aginst San Franciscoes team,Giant(last years world champions)
Everything looked just the way that have thougt i will look like.
Three young girls started out with singing US national anthem, after that there were som diplomas for bravery and stuff to some soilders who had served there country.
A business person who obvioussly were very imortant to the city, got the honor of throwing the first ball.
Before everything started, I asked this lovely old man next to me to explain little about the game, he gladely did....it got the history of Padre as well as of the Giants.
So, "brännboll" but played for way longer then what we normally do.
It was a really family day, very small children could sit and play right next to the field in a gigantic sand box.
Everything was planned for that everyone in the family could enjoy them self during the game.
Like every where else here, all people at the Petco park were so friendly and was so very helpfull and polite.
Even the beggers in this city is polite.
If you ever have the chance, you must visit this city.
I have come to the fact that I will not be able to see all the things that i wanted to, the city has so much to offer and things that you can not miss out.....so, I hope that I one day will have the possibility to come back to Californa and bring my children and husband as well, I really love this city.

Next to al this, I saw so many wonderful things, I saw these Utters that were in the sam cage as some monkeys....and the utters they teasted the monkeys and just jumped around the way puppies do when they want to play:-)
I had nothing but some glas right between some lions and and a jeopard and me, it was so completely wonderful to see these magnificent animals...this was one of the best zoos i have ever been to.
Now some sleep, tomorrow they are increasing our work at school, so I can not be tired:-)

April 1 was a fun and very interesting day.
WE started out meeting a school and after that we walked to the court house, where we sat in.
It was a minor case, there have been a holiday last thursday, so many took the day off on friday.
So no big murder trial.
It was very interesting, it was a man who have refused to pay his rent for just about 6 month and it all started out with that he had a ghost in his apartment.(only in America:-))
After this we went to lunch togehter, there I meet this artist who paints, take photos and things like that.
He braged about how much mone he gives to charity, I asked him "to what kind of charity" he said, to Arnold Swarseneggers(dont know how to spell that) campain..... charity????
He was the type of person that i before I came here, were the typical american to me.
Im glad that I have meet so many other wonderfull ppl over here.
After school we decided to just relax and enjoy the sun. We went to the park and just sat ny the water having a few strawberry dauquri.....in this country it is against the law to drink ans smoke in public.....
Later at the evening we went to the Hyatt hotel who had this nice bar at the top with a view over the entire San Diego.
This was on the fourties floor, and you could feel it in your ears going up and down in the elevator.
Later on we went to a Irish pub, a nice place to go to.
We have asked arround about Mexico, every one says the same thing, dont go there.
At the moment it is a big drug and gang war going on down there.....so we have decided that if not for our own sake but for our families sake, we wont go there .
Have a nice day and weekend:-)

Today it has been a really nice, warm summer day, not just spring.
In school we have been discussing, we have looked at a film we saw a demonstration.
It seems like that the people that dont live in the citys make less money, so it was a big demonstration were the union also was involved.
After school we went for some lunch and after this we drove up to La Jolla beach with the ppl from Switzerland.
It has been a beutiful summer day.
We were not sunbading close to the sea(at least, we thought we werent) but obvioussly we were, a gigantic wave sweept in and completely drowned my camera and mobilphone....so if anyone gets a call from me, dont answer it, it is doing this by it self:-).
Thursday is a club night in this town but after have had some nice chinese food, we just felt that we dont want any more adventures for today.
Im really looking forward to the day tomorrow.
First we are going on a field trip to the court house, to sit in and listen to a trial, very exiting I think.
On the evening we have decided on going to the Hyatt Hotel, one on the talest building in town that has a lovely view and a resturant in top.

Im also invited home to my teacher, this Im really looking forward to, lets see what day it will be.
I talked to some of the other ppl in my class today, to men from Switzerland, it seems as they have the "same" problem as we do, everyone things that they are from Sweden:-)
After school today we just stayed out in the wonderful summer weather, we found this nice greek resturant just down at the harbour, a lovely place, we sat for hours and hours and did also talked to a couple from Arkansas who was here on a convention, the convention at the moment is about handikapped ppl in the US.
Very interesting to listen too.
After this, we went for some shopping, I really need a pare of shorts, they have promised 28 degrees tomorrow, love it.
Have a wonderfull day and remember, there is always someone having a much more terrible day then you have ( like all the beggers in this town)

I started in my new class (highest level they could put me in:-) the studenst where nice, so was the teacher.
It was students from all over the world, one person from SE, Karl (but somehow I mix that up with Erik, dont know why:-)
The class has just ended a book and is now in between books, so we are doing a lot of reviws, the plan is also to make a visit to the court on friday and to sit in and listen.
After this we went to USS Midway, a big US flagg ship, very interesting.
One of the things we know about this ship, is for exampel, stand like a sky scrape and it will be taler then any of those in this city!....
There wer so many cool things to see, defently worth a trip.
On this ship, only 40 ppl are employies, the rest is "volunteres"(volänterer)...
The only way this ship now makes any money is by having turist, partyies and different events. they et no money from the state what so ever.
Taco tuesday!!!! love it...all the mexican resturants in the city have it, its cheaper then the other days, its like a happy hour that also includes the food:-) LOVE strawberry margerithas:-).
Naturally i brought Kim but i also brought Alesandra, my new friend from Brazil.
I thought we were the only country that the americans didnt knew about, but we actually meet a person today that didn ned anything about Brazil!!!
Are we the only ppl that learn about other cultures and history? ....
We also discussed a lot about the diferences of our countries, like forinstance, after given bearth to a child they stay home for 3 month!....3 month.....if they stay longer, then they wont have a jobb to go back to...!!
This is it for today, have homework about american history, i got Martin Luther King and his childhood:-)
Have fun, and rememeber, that you live in a good country that take care of its ppl
(Having problems with the photoes, it only work downlouding on FB, im sorry....)

This day started out lovely, panic is the word.... it was stop in the toilet....the claening lady who helped me told me "to much paper" :-) after this I completely lost track of time, so the meeting with the other students from J Inn where we live, almost ended up in me comming with my tooth brush in my mouth. In other words, panic.
We had a lovely school guide, who showed the way to the school, gave som tips about things to do, like tomorrow we are going on taco night:-)
At the school we were presented to the school staff, they informed about rules and regulations ( this most be the country with most rules in the entire world:-)
Naturally the mixed me up and though that I was from Switzerland(surprise)
They sterated out listening to how we spoke and after that, we had a writing test, wich i felt went very well.
I felt sorry for the ppl who sat there and couldnt say a word in english, but then again, thats why there were there.
I sat next to a girl, Ella from Korea and Alejandra from Brazil, we had very much in common and a lot to talk about.
The school today ended very late but still we decided to go to this big shopping center just next to the Mexican border, we must go back there it was so cheap and much to see.
So no when the clock shows 22:30 here and 7:30 at you, im sitting with a big cup of tea and will soon end this day.
School tomorrow and a visit on Midway.

27 of March (sunday)
We have had a wonderful day today, we started out the day with going to a local market were I found this beutiful neckless made out of a real orchide.
We met a Swedish artist that made lovely pictures on "marmor(kakel)".
After this we walked and walked and walked... we saw a memorial of the people who sacrificed there life in Pear Harbor, we are also planning on seing the war ship "Midway" in a few days.
This city is so full of history, I love that, its very exiting.
After all of this we went on a whale wathing, this is so beyond one of the coolest thing I ever seen.
The whales swam arround the boat. next to this we saw some sea lions, dolphins, seals, pelicans
I must say, seeing them in there own invirement is way much cooler then seing them at sea world , it must be.
Tomorrow its school time, I will start out with a test just to se how good (or bad) I am at English.
When we were going of the boat we got comments on how much "couler" (=read red) we got, and did we get today? :-)...we are so scandinavian:-)
Besides all this we saw the military flight going in and out of the base. We saw where they have there simular test for flight pilots. we have seen a lot and there is so much more to see in this beutiful, clean town. like tonight we are going back to the gaslamp district to have a nice dinner.
I could recomend this town to anyone:-)
See you tomorrow

It is early morning here, we have just got out of bed. I have had a few problems with connecting to the internet, but will try solving it.
The flight and all the different transit went ok, I never thought that I will be able to find anything in the New York airport, but i did:-)
Yesterday was a really nice day, we went for shopping and sightseing, today we are moving from the hotel to were we are suppose to live the next 14 days.
Tomorrow, sunday we are planning on whale watching if the weater is nice ( wich they have said it will be:-))
School is starting on monday, looking forward to it.

Nästa inlägg blir på engelska.....so here we go! :-)

Resfeber?!
Vädret i San Diego?
